Title 20 › Chapter 52— EDUCATION FOR ECONOMIC SECURITY › Subchapter I— NATIONAL SCIENCE FOUNDATION SCIENCE AND ENGINEERING EDUCATION › § 3911
Requires the National Science Foundation to strengthen math, science, and engineering education and research in five ways: make teaching better, support research plus fellowships and teacher–business exchange programs, improve teaching equipment, build partnerships among schools, businesses, colleges, and cultural groups, and raise education quality at all levels. The Foundation must also avoid putting too much support into only a few places and should spread help so research and education are not overly concentrated.
