Title 20 › Chapter 66— MORRIS K. UDALL AND STEWART L. UDALL FOUNDATION › § 5607a
Creates an Environmental Dispute Resolution Fund in the U.S. Treasury that the Foundation will run. The Fund gets money from amounts appropriated under section 5609(b) and from payments under section 5607b. The Board may spend what is needed to start and run the National Center, including salaries, office costs, mediation services, and other necessary expenses, and up to $1,000 each year for official reception and representation. The Fund must be kept separate from the Trust Fund under section 5606. The Secretary of the Treasury may invest money not needed for current withdrawals only in interest‑paying U.S. government obligations, buy them at issue or market price, sell them at market price, and keep any interest or sale proceeds in the Fund.
