Title 22 › Chapter 86— CLIMATE CHANGE TECHNOLOGY DEPLOYMENT IN DEVELOPING COUNTRIES › § 7905
Creates a government working group to run an initiative that promotes U.S. technologies and practices that lower greenhouse gas intensity. The group must pick which developing countries to focus on (using a prior report), find barriers to using the technologies (using other reports), and study past energy export efforts to learn what works. The Secretary of State leads the group. Other members are the USAID Administrator, the U.S. Trade Representative, and one representative each from the Departments of Energy and Commerce and the Environmental Protection Agency. Within 180 days after August 8, 2005, and every year after, the group must review federal efforts and send a report to Congress on results and recommendations.
