Title 29 › Chapter 11— LABOR-MANAGEMENT REPORTING AND DISCLOSURE PROCEDURE › Subchapter VII— MISCELLANEOUS PROVISIONS › § 523
Preserves the duties and rights that unions, their officers, reps, and any union-run trusts have under other federal or state laws, unless this chapter says otherwise. It also keeps any rights or legal remedies that union members have under those other laws. Does not replace or weaken the Railway Labor Act (45 U.S.C. 151 et seq.) or the duties and rights of carriers, employees, or unions under it, including 29 U.S.C. 186(a)–(c). It also does not give employers new defenses or change rights under the National Labor Relations Act (29 U.S.C. 151 et seq.).
