The EPA must promote green infrastructure and include it in permits, enforcement, planning, research, technical help, and funding guidance. The Office of Water must coordinate with other federal agencies, state, tribal, and local governments, and the private sector. EPA regional offices must, where appropriate, encourage green infrastructure, provide outreach and training, and fold it into permits, codes, and enforcement agreements. The EPA must also share information and give technical help, including on a website, to help governments, tribes, private groups, and the public reduce water pollution, protect water, follow rules, and meet other environmental and health goals.
