The Director of the Bureau of Justice Assistance can give grants to states and local agencies to help create and enforce criminal rules for child support that cross state lines. Grant money must be used to review current enforcement and gaps, plan and start long‑term strategies, set state priorities with plans to carry them out, and coordinate enforcement.
