Employees who officially represent their union in bargaining must get paid work time to do negotiations, including at impasse proceedings, while they would otherwise be working. The number of employees given that paid time can’t be more than the number the agency named as its representatives. Union internal business (membership drives, elections, dues) must be done off duty. For other matters before the Authority, the Authority decides if paid work time is allowed.
