Title 6 › Chapter 1— HOMELAND SECURITY ORGANIZATION › Subchapter VIII— COORDINATION WITH NON-FEDERAL ENTITIES; INSPECTOR GENERAL; UNITED STATES SECRET SERVICE; COAST GUARD; GENERAL PROVISIONS › Part F— Federal Emergency Procurement Flexibility › § 423
Use higher small-purchase limits for contracts and buys that support humanitarian, peacekeeping, or contingency operations. If the work happens inside the United States, treat the limit as $200,000. If it happens outside the United States, treat the limit as $300,000. This applies under the government's existing simplified acquisition rules found in three federal procurement laws. Also, apply a related rule about the maximum expected contract value as if its limit were the same $200,000 or $300,000 amounts.
