§4813 Refunds

Summary

You can demand and get a refund from the Board of an assessment you paid before the program is approved again in the required referendum if you were the one who paid the assessment and you do not support the program. Ask for the refund on the Board’s approved form and follow its rules. The request must be filed no later than 30 days after the end of the month when the assessment was paid. The Board must pay the refund within 30 days after it gets your request, if you show proof you paid the assessment and did not pass it on to someone else.
