Title 7 › Chapter 79— PORK PROMOTION, RESEARCH, AND CONSUMER INFORMATION › § 4817
Makes federal rules the only ones for promoting pork and teaching consumers about pork, and for collecting money from pork producers. States may not add or change rules about those activities, except for public health rules or rules about using state or local money. This limit applies only while assessments are being collected — from when collection starts under section 4809 until collection ends under section 4811(a)(3) or 4811(b)(1)(B).
