15‑Minute Survey for 1,660 Soldiers

The Department of Defense will collect information from about 1,660 Army Soldiers (E1–E4) living in barracks through a one‑time, voluntary survey that takes about 15 minutes per respondent. The collection is expected to yield 1,660 responses, totaling 415 annual burden hours, and is submitted under OMB Control Number 0704-0644.

Study to Evaluate Barracks Lock Upgrades (BLUI)

The information collection evaluates the U.S. Army Barracks Locks Upgrade Initiative (BLUI) to assess impacts on sexual and non‑sexual crimes, trust in leadership, fear and perceived risk, and actual victimization/perpetration among E1–E4 Soldiers. The DoD states the information will help support development of evidence‑based prevention approaches.
