Public hybrid meeting on Feb 19, 2025

You can attend the Environmental Management Site-Specific Advisory Board (Nevada) meeting in person in Las Vegas or virtually on February 19, 2025, from 4:00 to 8:30 p.m. PST. The public comment period begins at 4:10 p.m. PST that day.

Oral public comments allowed (2 minutes)

During the meeting on February 19, 2025, individuals may make oral comments in 2-minute segments during the 15 minutes set aside for public comments. The Deputy Designated Federal Officer controls the meeting order and may limit questioning.

You may submit written comments to the NSSAB Administrator by email; comments received before 1:00 p.m. PST on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, will be provided to board members before the meeting, and written comments will be accepted until Friday, February 28, 2025.

How to join virtually (RSVP by Feb 18)

To attend the meeting virtually via Microsoft Teams, you must contact Barbara Ulmer (NSSAB Administrator) by email or phone no later than 1:00 p.m. PST on Tuesday, February 18, 2025. In-person attendance is at the Molasky Corporate Center in Las Vegas.

Board advises DOE on Nevada cleanup and land use

The Nevada EM Site-Specific Advisory Board provides advice and recommendations to the Department of Energy on cleanup activities, waste and nuclear materials management and disposition, excess facilities, future land use, and long-term stewardship for DOE sites in Nevada.
