Preliminary Decision Delayed to May 12, 2025
Commerce postponed the preliminary countervailing duty determinations in the float glass investigations from the March 6, 2025 deadline to no later than May 12, 2025 (130 days after initiation). The petitioner (Vitro Flat Glass, LLC and Vitro Meadville Flat Glass, LLC) requested the postponement on February 4, 2025 so Commerce could fully analyze questionnaire responses and issue supplemental questionnaires if needed.
Final Determinations Tied to New Preliminary Date
Commerce stated the deadline for final determinations will remain 75 days after the date of the preliminary determinations. Because the preliminary determinations are postponed to no later than May 12, 2025, the final-determination deadline will be 75 days after whatever date Commerce issues the preliminary determinations.
