On March 4, 2025, the Presidential major disaster declaration (FEMA-4860-DR) was amended to provide Public Assistance only for the Commonwealth of Kentucky. Local governments and public agencies in Kentucky can access extra support to repair public projects damaged by severe storms, straight-line winds, flooding, landslides, and mudslides.
