Flood Map Changes Affect Insurance
If you live in or own property in any community listed in this notice, FEMA updated the Flood Insurance Rate Maps (FIRMs) and, where applicable, Flood Insurance Study (FIS) reports. The updates change Base Flood Elevations (BFEs), base flood depths, Special Flood Hazard Area (SFHA) boundaries, zone designations, or the regulatory floodway via Letters of Map Revision (LOMR), and the current effective community number shown must be used for all new flood insurance policies and renewals.
