Gulf Coast Gas Storage Increase
Natural Gas Pipeline Company of America proposes adding about 5.9 miles of 30-inch pipeline, a new pigging tool launcher, and a 12,000 horsepower compressor in Harrison County, Texas to convert 10 billion cubic feet of cushion gas to working gas and raise peak withdrawals from 1,240 MMcf/day to 1,420 MMcf/day. The company says the work is to meet the storage needs of its shippers and growing demand for firm storage service in the Gulf Coast area.
