The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission set public comment deadlines at 5:00 p.m. Eastern on May 1, 2026 and May 4, 2026 for the listed electric rate and securities filings. New market-based rate authorizations filed (initial rate filings)
Some companies submitted initial rate filings or applications for market-based rate (MBR) authorization with stated effective dates: Sun Ridge Solar, LLC applied for Blanket MBR Authorization to be effective July 1, 2026, and 45MG 8me LLC filed an initial Market Based Rate application to be effective April 14, 2026. These are formal requests to obtain authorization to sell power at market-based rates.
