Columbia Gas $27M WV pipeline upgrades

If you live in West Virginia, Columbia Gas proposes a $27 million project to build two new bi-directional launcher/receiver stations (at Glenville Compressor Station in Gilmer County and Broad Run Meter Station in Kanawha County) and related work at twelve locations in Kanawha, Roane, Calhoun, and Gilmer Counties. The company says the work is to support monitoring and maintenance so pipelines stay safe and gas keeps flowing, and to comply with the Department of Transportation's Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration rules.

How to protest or intervene (deadline Sep 9)

You can file a protest, motion to intervene, or comment about this project at no cost by 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time on September 9, 2025. Filings can be made via FERC eFiling or by mailing a paper copy; the Office of Public Participation can help landowners, community groups, and Tribal members with filings. If no protest is filed (or a protest is withdrawn within 30 days), the proposed activity is deemed authorized the day after the protest period ends; only intervenors can request rehearing and later challenge Commission orders.
