June 5, 2026 Lease Sale — Bid Deadline
The Bureau of Land Management will open bids at 10:00 a.m. (AKDT) on June 5, 2026. Companies must deliver sealed bids by 4:00 p.m. (AKDT) on June 3, 2026 to the BLM-Alaska State Office at 222 West 7th Avenue, #13, Anchorage, AK 99513-7504.
At Least 400,000 Acres Offered Now and Later
The 2026 sale will include tracts totaling no less than 400,000 acres in the Coastal Plain. Section 50104 of Public Law 119-21 requires four lease sales of at least 400,000 acres each over the next ten years, with an initial lease sale no later than July 4, 2026.
Sale Terms, Sealed-Bid Rules, and Withdrawal Right
The Detailed Statement of Sale (available on the BLM Alaska website) lists the areas offered, lease terms, special stipulations, operating procedures, and directions for submitting sealed bids; all bids must be sealed per those provisions. The United States reserves the right to withdraw any tract from the sale prior to issuance of a written acceptance of a bid.
