2024 Review Rescinded — No New Fees
Commerce rescinded the 2024 administrative review of countervailing duties on utility scale wind towers from Canada for the period January 1, 2024 through December 31, 2024 because there were no shipments. The rescission is effective April 29, 2026, and means no new countervailing-duty fees or changes will be applied for that 2024 period.
Cash Deposits and Duty Assessment Stay Same
Commerce stated that current cash deposit requirements will remain in effect until further notice and that countervailing duties will be assessed at rates equal to the cash deposit required at the time of entry. Commerce intends to issue assessment instructions to U.S. Customs and Border Protection no earlier than 35 days after the publication of this rescission notice (publication date April 29, 2026).
