Container Country‑of‑Origin Paperwork Extended
If you import or export goods using containers or holders, U.S. Customs and Border Protection is extending (without change) the existing paperwork collection that implements the country‑of‑origin marking rules under 19 U.S.C. 1304 and 19 CFR 134.22(b). CBP estimates 250 businesses will make 40 responses each (10,000 total annual responses), each response takes about 15 seconds, for an estimated 41 total annual burden hours. You can submit comments on this extension through www.reginfo.gov by June 8, 2026.
