3 provisions identified: 2 benefits, 0 costs, 1 mixed.

Acquisition Effective June 30, 2026

Student Transportation of America (STA) will acquire Tremblay's Bus Co. and make it a direct STA subsidiary if no opposing comments are filed by June 29, 2026. The notice will become effective on June 30, 2026; Tremblay's Bus currently transports about 9,500 students per day for school districts in New Bedford, Fall River, and Dartmouth, Massachusetts.

Tremblay's Bus Employees Likely Protected

Applicants state it is highly unlikely Tremblay's Bus employees will be adversely affected and they do not intend to significantly reduce employment levels for drivers, dispatchers, or maintenance personnel; Tremblay's Bus currently has about 430 drivers and uses about 350 school buses.

No Immediate Increase in Fixed Charges

Applicants state there are no current plans to finance the acquisition in a way that would affect fixed charges payable by STA or its affiliates; funding will be drawn from STA's current credit facility and Tremblay's Bus will become a co-obligor under that facility. The application indicates no immediate change to service pricing is planned.
