Reduce FedRAMP Burden for CSPs

The FSCAC will examine and recommend measures to reduce the burden, confusion, and cost associated with FedRAMP authorizations for cloud service providers (CSPs). This work is intended to lower the administrative and financial barriers CSPs face when seeking FedRAMP authorization.

Increase FedRAMP Access for Small Businesses

The FSCAC will consider measures to increase the number of FedRAMP authorizations for cloud products and services offered by small business concerns as defined by section 3(a) of the Small Business Act (15 U.S.C. 632(a)). This aims to help more small businesses pursue and obtain FedRAMP authorization.

Free Virtual Public Meetings and Participation

The FSCAC will hold four virtual public meetings in 2026 (June 8, July 27, August 31, and November 2, each 1:00–3:00 p.m. ET). Registration is required, there is no cost to register, attendees can give oral public comment, written comments received 72 hours before a meeting will be provided to members in advance, and live captioning and disability accommodations are available if requested at least 10 days before the meeting.
