More abortion access information for patients

This bill would direct the Department of Health and Human Services to run a national education and outreach campaign on abortion and related care. It would share medically accurate information, including medication abortion with mifepristone and misoprostol, and how to get care in person or by telehealth. It would explain legality and availability consistent with state and federal law, and inform patients of their right to travel for care, with information on groups that can help with travel. It would show how to spot crisis pregnancy centers and other misinformation, and how to protect personal and health data from misuse or surveillance. Materials would be on the HHS website and designed to be accessible for underserved groups, such as immigrants, people with disabilities, low-income people, young people, LGBTQI+ people, rural residents, and people on Tribal land. The campaign could not collect visitor data or promote abortion reversal, abstinence-only programs, or other misinformation.
