This bill would direct the Small Business Administration and HUD to help housing-industry small businesses get more loans and technical help. Not later than 180 days after enactment, the agencies would publish and submit an interagency plan on an SBA website. The plan would identify gaps and propose reforms to expand SBA loan access, including 7(a), 7(m), and section 502 programs. It would set up joint trainings and streamline counseling. It would coordinate support with SBDCs, Women's Business Centers, Veteran Outreach Centers, and SCORE, and include options to help housing startups access SBIR and STTR or new innovation programs.
