Caribbean counternarcotics strategy and rules
If enacted, this bill would expand drug-control rules to clearly cover DC, all U.S. territories, possessions, and U.S. waters. It would add work to map, track, and disrupt financial networks used by drug traffickers. It would require a Caribbean Border Counternarcotics Strategy. The plan would name each agency's roles and list the resources needed. It would aim to protect legitimate trade and travel. It would also include steps to prevent trafficking to Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands and to reduce drug-related violent crime there.
