Up to $205 million for court buildings
The state financing authority can issue securities with up to $205 million outstanding at any one time. The money pays to plan, buy, build, renovate, furnish, equip, improve, expand, and consolidate court buildings. Projects are in Androscoggin, Cumberland, Franklin, Hancock, Penobscot, Sagadahoc, and Somerset counties. It also covers planning for other court facilities. This authorization applies even if another law sets a lower cap. The law does not create new taxes.
