One-time state funding for trafficking survivor services

The law requires Maine DHHS to fund the Preble Street anti-trafficking program, outside the usual purchasing rule (Title 5, §1825-B). It provides a one-time General Fund appropriation of $317,000 for fiscal year 2026-27 to support anti-trafficking services. There is no state funding in FY 2025-26. The money helps keep services for trafficking survivors running through DHHS and Preble Street.
