New rules for late road toll refunds
The commissioner can accept late road toll refund requests for just cause. This waiver is available to any requester, not just local government agencies. If a waiver is granted, a fee is taken from the refund: 5% of the refund or $50, whichever is larger. Local government agencies do not pay this fee. A requester can get this kind of waiver no more than once every three years.
