Utah posts land-use permits online

Beginning May 6, 2026, the Department of Natural Resources publishes land use permits collected by the Utah Geological Survey on its website. This makes permit records easier to find. Landowners, developers, researchers, and outdoor users can view the permits online.

Wetland fee study is canceled

Beginning May 6, 2026, the Department of Natural Resources no longer has to study or report on an in-lieu fee wetland mitigation program. The law ends the required consultations and the past 2022 and 2023 report deadlines. It does not create or fund any fee program.
