More mowing hours for golf courses

Beginning May 6, 2026, cities and counties cannot ban routine golf course maintenance between 5:30 a.m. and 10 p.m. This covers courses inside city limits and in unincorporated county areas, even if only part of the course is there. It applies to private and government-owned courses. Maintenance includes mowing, trimming, and related upkeep. A city may still set any hours for a course it owns. A county may do the same for a course it owns.
