Funding for Virgin Islands ports and roads
For FY2026, the law funds key port and road work in the Virgin Islands. It directs $10 million from excess Debt Service Reserve Fund money tied to gross receipts tax bonds. $2 million goes to the Port Authority to demolish Adelita Cancryn Junior High School. $6 million goes to the Port Authority for dredging to improve maritime access. $2 million goes to Public Works to pave the Estate Barren Spot North expansion. It also provides $2 million from the St. Thomas Capital Improvement Fund to Public Works to finish Leonardo Nardo Trotman Drive. All these funds stay available until they are fully spent.
