Insurance covers damage from Bovoni solar array
STB Solar, LLC must keep liability insurance. The coverage must be enough to pay property owners for damage caused by the solar panels because of a natural disaster. If your property is damaged by the array, you can seek payment from that insurance. The law does not set a dollar amount.
Permit approved for Bovoni solar array
The law approves Major Coastal Zone Management Permit No. CZMJL0018-25. STB Solar, LLC can build a solar array on Parcel No. 17 Remainder Bovoni, Estate Bovoni, St. Thomas. The stated purpose is to supply renewable power to the Water and Power Authority at a lower price than propane or diesel and support energy diversification.
