Annual transporter plate for manufactured and modular homes
Transporters can register with the state and get an annual plate to move modular, manufactured, or other portable homes used by people. The fee is based on the combined weight of the home and the trailer or temporary undercarriage. The plate is valid for the calendar year and can be used on any eligible trailer you own, including when returning empty. A trailer using this plate does not need its own separate trailer registration if it is used only for these moves, is towed by a properly registered motor vehicle, and displays the transporter plate.
