Sales tax break for real estate brokers

Licensed Wisconsin real estate brokers under chapter 452 do not pay state sales or use tax on certain membership fees. The membership qualifies if it offers to compensate or cooperate with other brokers (or both) and gives access to listing details and compensation offers from other brokers. This applies to the sales price and to the storage, use, or consumption of the membership. The change takes effect the first day of the third month after publication.
