All those parcels add up to 46,786.11 acres, more or less. Also includes a separate tract with Rattlesnake Springs in section 23, township 25 South, range 24 East under the New Mexico Principal Meridian. The United States bought that tract for water-right purposes by warranty deed dated January 23, 1934, recorded in Eddy County deedbook 64, page 97, and it contains 79.87 acres, more or less.
