Automatic authorization if no timely protest
If no protest is filed by the April 8, 2025 deadline, or if a filed protest is withdrawn within 30 days after the allowed time for filing, the proposed abandonment activity will be deemed authorized effective the day after the time allowed for protest. If a protest is filed and not withdrawn within 30 days after the allowed time, the request will instead be considered by the Commission.

The project is estimated to cost $1.4 million and is intended to limit integrity risk in alignment with the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA) Storage Final Rule.
Public filing and intervention rights
You can file a protest, motion to intervene, or comment about the project at no cost; submissions must be filed by 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time on April 8, 2025. Individuals who intervene by that deadline gain party status and the right to request rehearing of Commission orders and later challenge those orders in the U.S. Circuit Courts of Appeal.
