The extension runs August 1, 2026, to July 31, 2027, provides $11,941,394, and aims to expand access, coordination, and quality of basic health services in the eight rural Mississippi Delta Region states (Alabama, Arkansas, Illinois, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, and Tennessee).

Non-Competitive $15.9M Extension Awarded

HRSA issued a non-competitive award totaling $15,928,583 across 33 recipients (21 Quality awards and 12 Delta States awards) for the project period August 1, 2026, to July 31, 2027.
