Counties Added to Disaster Declaration

The SBA amended the Texas disaster declaration to add Cameron County as a primary affected county and Hidalgo and Willacy as contiguous affected counties for the severe storms and tornadoes that occurred April 24, 2026 through May 1, 2026. The amendment was issued on June 1, 2026.
