No‑fault vaccine injury compensation
The National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program provides a no-fault system for people injured by certain vaccines. You must file a petition with the United States Court of Federal Claims (the Secretary of HHS is the named respondent, and HRSA handles the Secretary’s role) and special masters appointed by the Court decide eligibility for and the amount of compensation.
Opportunity to submit evidence in claims
All interested persons may submit written information relevant to listed petitions about whether the injury is due to factors unrelated to vaccination or whether an injury not on the Vaccine Injury Table (or outside the Table’s time period) was caused by a listed vaccine. Written submissions must include an original and three copies filed with the Clerk, United States Court of Federal Claims (717 Madison Place NW, Washington, DC 20005) and a copy to HRSA (Director, Division of Injury Compensation Programs, 5600 Fishers Lane, 14W-18, Rockville, MD 20857).
Published list of petitions received (Apr 1–30, 2026)
HRSA published a list of petitions it received between April 1, 2026 and April 30, 2026 that includes petitioner name, city and state of vaccination (or filer), and the Court of Federal Claims case number; the notice also states that names or case numbers may be redacted by the Court. The published list is part of the statutory requirement to notify the public within 30 days after service of a petition.
