Investor Petition Paperwork Burden
USCIS is revising the information collection for Forms I-526 and I-526E used by immigrant investors. The notice estimates 504 respondents for Form I-526 and 4,000 respondents for Form I-526E, each with an estimated 1.65 hours per response, totaling 7,432 annual burden hours and an estimated $4,954,400 in total annual respondent costs. Comments on this revision are due by November 13, 2026.
I-526E Reporting for Regional Center Changes
Form I-526E may be used by regional center investors to report amendments needed to show ongoing eligibility if the regional center, new commercial enterprise, or job-creating entity in which they invested is terminated or debarred from the Regional Center Program.
