Landowners face eminent domain risk
If the Commission approves the project, the Natural Gas Act conveys the right of eminent domain to the pipeline company. Project will use and permanently occupy land
Construction would require about 331.4 acres of land and the project would permanently maintain about 82.0 acres. About 90 percent of the proposed pipeline route parallels existing utility easements.

The North Extension Project is intended to provide 185,000 dekatherms per day of incremental firm natural gas transportation service to Wisconsin Electric Power Company and includes new compressor units and an approximately 11.5-mile lateral.
