4 provisions identified: 2 benefits, 0 costs, 2 mixed.
Officials' biographical data collected
If you are a current or former Farm Credit Administration (FCA) or FCSIC employee or Board member, the agency will maintain biographical files that can include name, place of birth or hometown, job titles and work history, photographs, video and voice recordings, education, military experience, awards, civic duties, hobbies, and personal interests.
Public posting allowed on websites and social media
The agency modified a routine use so these biographical records may be disclosed to the public by posting on FCA or FCSIC websites, authorized social media outlets, or to news media and event audiences when there is a legitimate public interest, the disclosure would not be an unwarranted invasion of personal privacy, or when the person consents. This routine use is part of the amended FCA-4 system effective November 24, 2026.
Records moved to electronic storage with updated safeguards
The Biographical Files are maintained electronically in a computerized database and FCA says computerized records are safeguarded using user roles, passwords, firewalls, encryption, and other information technology security measures.
You can access and amend your record
If you want to obtain or request amendments to your biographical record, you may contact the Privacy Act Officer at the Farm Credit Administration, following procedures in 12 CFR part 603.
