For the relief of Rebecca Trimble.

Summary
Grants permanent resident status for Rebecca Trimble. The law makes her eligible for an immigrant visa under INA section 204 or for adjustment to lawful permanent resident under INA section 245 despite certain INA bars. If she entered the United States before the two-year filing deadline, she is treated as having entered and remained lawfully and can adjust status as of the enactment date. It waives inadmissibility and deportability grounds in INA sections 212(a) and 237(a), requires the Department of Homeland Security to rescind related removal or inadmissibility orders, and reduces by one the immigrant visa total for her birth country in the current or next fiscal year.

Green card relief for Rebecca Trimble
If enacted, this bill would let Rebecca Trimble apply for an immigrant visa or to adjust status to lawful permanent resident. She would need to file the application with required fees within two years of enactment. If she enters the United States before that filing deadline, she would be treated as having entered and remained lawfully as of the enactment date and could seek adjustment of status. The bill would require the Department of Homeland Security to cancel any removal, deportation, or inadmissibility orders or findings against her that appear in DHS or State Department visa records on the date of enactment. If she is granted a visa or permanent residence, the Secretary of State would reduce her birth country's immigrant visa total by one in the current or next fiscal year.
