118-s-1858, Disaster Assistance Deadlines Alignment Act
Aligns disaster unemployment assistance deadlines with Section 408 deadlines. The law amends the Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act so the application deadline for Disaster Unemployment Assistance under Section 410 matches the deadline for individuals and households seeking aid under Section 408 for the same major disaster. The President may accept a late application for good cause if it is submitted before the period during which assistance for that disaster expires. The change applies only to amounts appropriated on or after enactment.
