Sponsored By: Representative Pressley, Ayanna [D-MA-7]

Introduced

Summary

Honoring abortion providers' courage, compassion, and high-quality care. This bill would designate March 10, 2025 as Abortion Provider Appreciation Day and formally recognize clinicians, staff, clinics, hospitals, and telehealth services that deliver abortion care. It would affirm a commitment to provider safety and patient access, condemn Supreme Court and administrative decisions and antiabortion extremists that limit or stigmatize care, and declare a vision to eliminate restrictions so people can obtain abortion care without fear of penalty or stigma.
