DHS Intelligence Rotational Assignment Program and Law Enforcement Support Act
Sponsored By: Representative Mackenzie, Ryan [R-PA-7]
Passed House
Summary
Requires DHS intelligence components to join the ODNI Intelligence Community Civilian Joint Duty Program. The bill would add a new provision to the Homeland Security Act directing the Department of Homeland Security to ensure that all DHS components that are members of the DHS Intelligence Enterprise participate in the Office of the Director of National Intelligence civilian joint duty program consistent with policies set by the Director of National Intelligence. That creates an obligation for interagency rotational assignments of DHS civilian intelligence staff.
