Help for farm exports and cold storage
The Department of Agriculture would fund technical help to support U.S. farm exports. The Secretary would contract with eligible trade groups for needs assessments, training, and other aid. Help would target cold storage and port improvements in new and developing foreign markets to cut product loss. It would authorize $1 million each year for fiscal years 2026–2030, only for these uses. Unused authorized amounts could be shifted to the broader program under this section, and the authority would start upon enactment.
