Ban ranked-choice voting in federal elections
This bill would bar states from using ranked-choice voting in any federal election starting in 2026. It would cover systems where voters rank candidates by preference. Election offices that use ranked choice would need to run federal races with a different method. Existing federal voting-law enforcement would apply, so federal officials and courts could challenge violations. It applies only to federal elections.
