U.S. would leave the World Health Organization

If enacted, the President would withdraw the United States from the World Health Organization (WHO) on the date of enactment. Federal agencies would not be able to use any funds to take part in the WHO or any successor group. The bill would also repeal the 1948 law that authorized U.S. membership and funding. This could reduce U.S. cooperation on global disease response and affect public health nationwide.
